Ingredients
1 (5 to 7 lb) fully cooked ham
1/2 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup Dijon mustard
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
Optional Ingredients
1 tablespoon cornstarch
Directions
-
Preheat your oven to 325°F.
-
Remove any packaging from the ham and place it in a roasting pan.
-
In a saucepan, combine the maple syrup, Dijon mustard, brown sugar, apple cider vinegar, and butter. Cook over medium heat until the butter melts and the mixture is well combined. If desired, whisk in the cornstarch to thicken the glaze.
-
Pour half of the glaze evenly over the ham, using a basting brush or spoon to coat it well.
-
Bake the ham in the preheated oven for about 15 to 20 minutes per pound, or until the internal temperature reaches 140°F on a meat thermometer, basting occasionally with the remaining glaze.
-
Once the ham reaches the desired temperature, remove it from the oven and let it rest for about 10 minutes before slicing and serving.
-
Serve the maple glazed ham with any remaining glaze on the side for extra flavor.
