Maple Bacon Brussels Sprouts

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds Brussels sprouts

  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

  • 4 slices bacon, cut into 1/2 inch pieces

Directions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Slice off the bottom of each sprout and then slice in half lengthwise, discarding any discolored or wilted leaves.
  3. Toss the halved sprouts in the maple syrup and olive oil.
  4. Sprinkle with the salt and bacon pieces, and spread evenly on a baking sheet.
  5. Roast until the sprouts and bacon are crispy and caramelized, about 45 minutes.
  6. Ready to serve!
