Combine the chopped pecans, brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, and salt, in a small mixing bowl. Mix them well.

Place the bacon on a wire rack set over a baking sheet.

Sprinkle the pecan mixture over the bacon, pressing it in slightly to adhere.

Cook the bacon in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the pecan topping is caramelized.

Remove the baking sheet from the oven and let the bacon cool for a few minutes on the wire rack before serving.
