Unique soils, climates and topography, coinciding with our dry farming practices define the character expressed in each Mignanelli Family wine. Proprietor and Winemaker Byron Mignanelli has been making wines with his family since 2010. Intense aromas of green apple and citrus fruits, Elsa Chardonnay on the palate is very fresh, with a slight sweetness, featuring flavors of tropical fruit and citrus. It is a delicate, medium-volume wine. The Chardonnay grapes come from the company’s own vineyards in the Rama Caída & Las Paredes districts in the region of San Rafael, Mendoza. The perfect pairing is with semi soft cheeses, rich grilled fish, creamy pastas and roasted vegetables.

The grapes come from the Kautz family’s Thornton Ranch property, the closest Lodi AVA to the California Delta. These vineyards benefit the greatest from the daily ocean breezes and Ironstone’s sustainable viticultural practices. Aged in new French oak for six months Ironstone’s Pinot Noir senses aromas of black cherries mixed with cloves, spice and a touch of vanilla, followed by a well-rounded and supple cherry and plum flavor with a bit of earthiness. This Pinot Noir is delicious to serve with dishes like cedar plank salmon, wild mushroom bruschetta, roasted chicken, pork roast, lamb chops, or game birds like duck or pheasant.

David Givaudan aims to create authentic wines that respect the environment which has clay and limestone terroirs. The Cote’ Du Rhone is named “La Bete” after a mythincal Rhone beast “Givaudan” that terrorized the Rhone Valley. This wine has black cherries, violets with hints of black olives and a silky textire with well integrated tannins. This red will pair well with fresh grilled lamb chops, barbeque tri-tip or a beef carpaccio with capers.

Xurxo Alba’s winery is situated a mere 50m from the ocean close to where the Umía River spills into the Atlantic. Xurxo’s family has been farming and making wine in the O Salnés sub-region of Rías Baixas for generations but it wasn’t until Xurxo finished his oenological studies that they started bottling and commercializing their own wines in 2006. Citrus aromas of grapefruit stand out on the nose, with notes of lime, minerality with slight saline notes on the palate. The fresh acidity is ideal to accompany fish and shellfish.
