Bristol Farms Seafood Department’s featured item is fresh Alaskan Sockeye Salmon fillets. Beautiful sockeye harvested from the crystal blue glacier-fed waters in Alaskan’s Cook Inlet. These wild natural salmon grow a little larger than other sockeye salmon due to the nutrient rich waters they are harvested in. These sockeye salmon produce a deep red colored flesh that is suitable for many cooking applications. These salmon are shipped whole and are filleted just prior to being delivered to our stores. Many of our stores fillet the salmon themselves to assure our customers receive the highest quality fish available. We even use tweezers to remove all of the pesky pin bones to make your eating experience all that more enjoyable.

With the Safe Harbor program our seafood is tested to be lower in Mercury content than any other store. We make sure the Mercury is well below FDA standards. Our seafood will test lower than any natural / organic market in Southern California. Our customers can feel confident the seafood they purchase at Bristol Farms is the best quality and at the lowest mercury levels. Can you tell which seafood is lower in mercury? Bristol Farms can.
