This week's recipe comes from Achille Dattilo and Dattilo's Restaurant. It's a delciously simple recipe featuring their Sicilian sauce.

Chicken Cacciatore

Ingredients
8 boneless chicken thighs (breasts or legs may also be used)
1/4 cup Basil-Infused Olive Oil
24 oz Dattilo Sicilian Sauce
1 cup flour
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon white pepper

Method
In bowl combine flour, salt and white pepper and coat the chicken thighs. Discard the remaining flour mixture. In a hot skillet, brown the chicken thighs on both sides with basil-infused olive oil. You'll want to brown the thighs until they are golden brown on both sides. Set them aside. In a baking pan, arrange chicken side by side, pour Dattilo Sicilian Sauce over the chicken, cover with aluminum foil and bake for 450 degrees for 45 minutes or until done.

Dattillo Restaurant is located in historic Uptown Whittier at 6746 S. Greenleaf Avenue. For reservations please call 562-945-8723 or visit www.dattillorestaurant.com
