Apple Stuffed French Toast

Our incredible, handmade, freshly baked Bristol Cinnamon Bread mades all the difference in this delicious take on every French Toast. Prepare to swoon!

Ingredients:
1 loaf - Bristol Bakery Cinnamon Bread (cut into 1 1/2 slices)
1/2 can - Cornstock Premium Apple Pie Filling (diced)
8 oz - Philadelphia Cream Cheese
2 cups - Milk
3 each - Eggs
1 teaspoon - Vanilla
4 cups - Special K Cereal (crushed)
1/4 cup - Butter (melted)
Maple Syrup - to taste

Method:
1. Pre-Heat oven to 350 degrees.
2. Place cream cheese in bowl and let sit at room temp for 1/2 hour to soften. Add diced apples into cream cheese and gently fold together.
3. Cut Cinnamon Bread into seven 1 1/2 inches thick slices. Using a sharp knife cut a pocket into one side of the each slice of bread (do not cut all the way through).
4. Using a spoon gently fill each bread slice pocket with apple and cream cheese until filling is gone.
5. In a medium bowl blend together the eggs, milk and vanilla.
6. Place Special K cereal in another bowl crush slightly.

Assembly:
Dip each slice of stuffed bread into egg mixture flip over to coat, place bread in Special K and press cereal gently on bread to coat.

Cooking:
Heat non-stick saute pan over medium heat until hot. Add approximately 1 tablespoon butter. Cook French toast, 2 slices at a time until golden brown on each side (add more butter as needed) Place cooked French Toast on sheet pan and place in pre-heated 350 degree oven for 5-10 minutes or until hot.

Serve with Butter and warm maple syrup.
